Blood Drive for Minneapolis Shooting Victims

27AUG25 MINNEAPOLIS suffered a mass shooting at a church, followed by 3 additional tragic shootings yesterday, and blood donations are needed for 17 hospitalized children. 3 of the victims have died.

Memorial Blood Centers is providing hundreds of units of blood to the hospitals where victims have been taken, according to WDIO/abc in the Twin Cities. Although the victims are expected to survive, there is only a 3 day inventory of blood available, so MBC says this is still an emergency, and donations are needed:
“Ongoing donations are urgently needed to ensure a ready supply for all patients in the days and weeks ahead,” said MBC in a statement. “We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support from the community and need continued support to sustain a healthy blood supply for all in need.”

For those who give blood, it is best to contact MBC online at MBC.org

Details of the shootings have still not been sorted out, that story is breaking.
